For the work we do, Pc stand above the rest, Ok mac desktop stands up there too. You just cant beat the speed of a good monster Pc.
The main draw backs of a Laptop for the work we do is hard drive speed. 5400 rpm is the basic hard drive speed for a laptop. If you do a lot of work away from your home, they are great. I should use mine more than I do. I just hate having the weight hanging on my arm.
Netbook, when I look at my netbook I think we went backwards. 900mhz processors went out the window a long time ago. What makes this little wizards so great, is that its small. The main complaint isnt the speed, its the small keyboard. Where my laptop has a battery life of 1.5 hours, my netbook can easly do 2.5 to 3 hours.
My cell phone has 8 gigs of storage space, my netbook 16, funny how my phone has a processor 4 times as fast as my first pc, and 8 times the storage space.
