I am always contactable, I love helping newbies or other webmasters because its what I enjoy doing, if you don't enjoy what you doing, stop doing it and do something else, life is to short to hate what your doing.. The best way to contact me is thru pm here on netpond, I dont use icq that much, unless I need to contact someone I don't even turn it on. I do have skype its on another machine, I don't hear that machine because I don't have my sound on a lot of times.. But don't put me on a Pedestal, I have helped thousands of webmasters, I can't help you if you don't contact me. Don't ever feel your bothering me, if it wasn't for talking to webmasters I would be bored off my butt. So if you have questions ask them. I will tell you what I know on any subject I know about, if I don't know then I will tell you I don't know.

I say this because it has happend many times over the years, A newbie will contact me and say something like, I need to make money pretty quick, I want to start I am in a hurry. What I tell them may seem harsh, but its honest.. If your here to make money quick, stop turn off your computer and go put in an application at Mc Donalds. This is not a get rich quick business. On the avg it takes a newbie to start making sales around three to six months, some quicker some longer. Some get lucky, I know of one newbie since the year 2000 that made $1,500 out of the box his first month. He quit the biz, said " it was to much work" Yes this does take a lot of work. Just know that now before you even start. I am not trying to say don't start, I am saying it takes a commitment to be an adult webmaster. It can be long boring work. It can be very rewarding, but your not going to get rich over night.

First thing you need to do before you do anything at all is contact a lawyer where you live, there are many different laws, some by country, some even so small as by city. No one on netpond is certfied to give you legal advice. You can ask if you wish, but be reminded we are not lawyers no do we play one on tv. If you get in a bind with your laws, there is not one of us that can stand up next to you and tell the judge we are a lawyer. I can tell you right now, judges don't go for well so and so said so on netpond. It won't mean a hill of beans to the judge. Believe it or not but some countries producing adult images or putting adult images on the net is punishable by death.
If you live in the usa, the best lawyer that has helped webmasters here at netpond is Eric Berstien, he has given his time many of times on The Netpond Show (http://thenetpondshow.com). He isn't free nor is he cheap but he does know internet law better than anyone one else. You can find him at New Jersey Law Firm - Eric M. Bernstein & Associates LLC: Employment, Labor, Government, Municipal, Education, Land Use, Environmental, Election, Internet (http://www.embalaw.com/)

You will find that adult webmasters seem to have there own language sometimes, If I say like tgp, mpg you have no idea what I am talking about Believe it or not there is a site that will give you a glossary of the terms used. Kind of handy. adult webmaster glossary/ (http://www.adultwebmasterglossary.com/)

Where to start, Lets start with what are you going to use for hosting, got to have a place for your art, yes building a site, page, is an art. You are an artist in your field.
Free hosting. Unless it is for a blog, or sponsor provided free hosting. Forget it. Your going to get ripped in some way or another. With domains being so cheap and hosting even cheaper if your going to do tgp galleries or free sites, don't even go the free hosting route.
With blogs you can go with like thumblogger (http://http://www.thumblogger.com/) or xlogz (http://www.xlogz.com/)
Cheap hosting: I have seen hosting go as cheap as $6.99 a month for a gadzillion gigs of bandwidth, and a assload of server space. I won't mention any hosting names here. But this is what happens. You pay for a year up front it sounds like an awesome deal. You think you could never burn all the bandwidth they offer in a month. You can't because this is how they burn you. You have a few sites that start burning bandwidth, your useing server resources. You will one day find your sites either gone or you will get an email. What you have been busted for is useing to many server resources. In there terms of service (tos) is something about server resource usage. You contact them and they will upsell you to another plan. This works for maybe a few months, then it all comes back again. Your screwed. They will either completly remove your sites, and you my friend are flat ass dead in the water. You may get lucky and they might let you backup your sites, or they are just gone.. Poof.
What are you to do? The best hosting is cyberwurx (http://cyberwurx.com) They host netpond and have for a long time. They do have beginner plans. The trick with them is watch your bandwidth if you see your going to go over your plan, call them or email them and up your plan before you go over and you won't pay an overage fee.
Once you start getting to a point where your seem to spending a over $200 a month on hosting, its time to think about your own box.

Domains: Domains today are cheap when I started out domains where $100 per year. I use 1and1 (http://www.1and1.com/?k_id=8629113) they are only $6.99 per year. I have heard some bad things about there hosting, so I wouldn't go that route, but as domain names, they have never done me wrong and I have around 300 domains with them and have been with them for about 5 years at the time of this writting.
To pick your domain try to keep it short, and try to keep it simple. If a surfer can remember your domain name thats half the battle. Don't use terms that a non adult would think would be a site for a non adult. Watch your trademarks. A domain name that is named after a product is a complete no no. Terms like for dummies or r-us will get you in a bind, they are part of a trademarked name.
Try to stay with a .com the reason is .com is the top of the crop for domains. Everyone knows of a .com. Not many know of a .ws or .biz.
When working with search engines here is a little trick I have used over the years. Add the, e, i, or you can use numbers like 1 thru 9. I have found some really short domains 4 letters by useing numbers. No your not going to find 8porn.com but 99pornagraphic has a better shot.
Dashes this has been debated over the years, to dash or no dash that is the question, for search engine the dash doesn't seem to matter, to a surfer it can. If your trying to build traffic as long as its short and easy to remember your pretty much ok..

What to build:
Free sites, blogs, thumb nail gallery post (tgp), movie gallery post (mgp)link lists, tgp galleries, tube sites, pic post, top list and link dumps.
A tube site is where surfers post or you put up video that is in a flv codec. They are really popular, there is only one little problem. There is not one tube site that is in the black they are all in the red. None of them are paying there own way. Even youtube at the time of this writting is not in the black. They are all taking a loss.
A link list is just what it sounds like it is a site that is nothing more than list of links to free sites. It does make money over time, but its not the best starter. The reason being is your linking to porn and the surfer is just hitting your site and your sending them off to somewhere else.
Tpg or thumb nail gallery post. Almost the same thing as a link list only your linking to thumb nail galleries. It the same as link list is harder to make money with because your sending your traffic somewhere else.
Movie gallery post (mgp) is the same as a tgp only it links to movies galleries
There is a little kicker to link list and tgp, mgp, if your site gets really popular you can charge webmasters to link to there sites, but this isn't going to happen over night, and I wouldn't suggest it as a starter.
Free sites. A free site is a site that has an index page a gallery selection page and two or three content pages. With free sites you are bound to the rules of the link lists. Yes they have rules, follow them. If you don't follow them, you get banned, you get banned your kind of screwed for traffic from them.
Tgp gallery or thumb nail gallery These are the simplest to build its basicly 20 to 30 thumbnails leading to pictures that are not in html. It has to link like 1.jpg it can not link to 1.html you won't get listed if there in html and you will get banned. Surfers that come to your gallery are harder to sell. To give you an example I built a gallery one time just to test how much bandwidth I could burn in two days. I got a listing on the hun with eight 1.5meg movies. I burned 215 gigs of bandwidth in two days. The only sales material was at the bottom one itty bitty text link. No i didn't make any sales, but it sure put my server to the test and gave my server admin a heart attack.
Pic posts these type of sites was the beginning of tgp, Its basis was one click one pic. A pic post has a script where a webmaster put in a link to a picture and a banner in the webmaster area it then creates a link in a list, the script then creates an html page and the image and the banner is pulled off the submitting webmasters server and shown on a page of the pic post. Its kind of like letting a site hotlink an image, but they also hotlink the banner. They are not the hottest thing going, they are kind of a dieing type of site. Not many webmasters do them anymore, but they are still worth your while as a webmaster to submit to, or have one in your portfolio, but not the best thing in the world to start with as a newbie.
Top list is a site where you send a site traffic it sends you back traffic. But the list is regulated by how much traffic you send, send one surfer you will find yourself at the bottom of the list. Send more surfers than anyone one else and your at the top of the list, normally the top 10 senders instead of just a plain text link will get a banner spot at the top. These are also kind of old school and not exactly for a newbie. One other not when you send traffic to a top list you send it the same window its just a straight link, when a top list sends you traffic by opening your site in a new window. Top lists are for tgp's, link lists, there not used with tgp galleries, and some link lists do not like to see links to them on free sites.
Link dump. Link dumps are done a couple of ways. Its basicly just a site/page where you just submit a link to your site, some require a recip link some don't. You enter your url into form field hit submit and your site is listed on a page with other links. Some are just a straight list, others are done more like a cascading message board and when you fill in the form you give more detail about your site. Some link dumps are automatic, where you listed automaticly, other are set up where the webmaster approves your link.

How to pick a sponsor:
First off picking a sponsor is easy, you click on a link poof they have some fancy site that explains it all to you and you fill in the form fields and poof your an affiliate. Now comes the hard part, there is a trust issue, how are they not going to screw you. If you got the link from a spam email, just delete the email and move on. No reputable sponsor spams. If you get a spam email from a sponsor and it has an affiliate code, it prob wasn't the sponsor that sent it, but some jerkwad spamming his affiliate code.
The best place to find sponsors is at the bottom of this page, not because they just advertise here, but they have paid a pretty good junk of change to be on this site, and they are very public about there program. They are not going to screw you over.
Your going to find that you will do better with some sponsor than with others, its a fact that one webmaster can sell one sponsor and make a chunk of change where you may use the same sponsor and not make squat. There are many factors and it is not the sponsor. Where your traffic comes from, what type of site your sending the traffic from. Its kind of hit or miss. Posting I sent this sponsor 100,000 hits and didn't make jack will only get you reply's with I use that some sponsor and I am makeing oodles of money from them.
If you send a sponsor 10,000 to 30,000 hits and make nothing, its time to change sponsors, because that sponsor and you are just not working with each other. Its kind of trail and error. Your going to find its just part of the adult business.
Every large sponsor has a sales rep, they are there for you, feel free to contact them and have them look at what your building, they are more than happy to help you sell there sites, thats what they are paid for. No they don't know as much as me, but they do have a handle on how to sell there sites. If they did know as much as me they wouldn't be a rep, they would be sitting at home in there underware writting this post.. LOL.. You can laugh now it was only a joke..

Sales text and Banners the holy grail of your existence. There are some people in this world that can sell heaters in hell and ice to eskamo's. _LB_, Rvince, Myself and others have this ability. It's not something that comes natural you have to learn it. I could sit here and write your sales text and it not sell for you. It has to come from within you. You have to know what your selling. Sex sells but its not easy to sell sex. Sounds strange but it is very true.
You have to give the surfer a reason to click on that link, it has to be suggestive, it has to be informitive, and it has to sound like it's the only place in the world they can get it, and you have to make them curious, not the easyest thing to do in 2 to 3 sentences.
My all time favorite example which now would get me nailed for trademark but it shows you what you need to do. Click here to see 3 girls 2 guys and an echasketch.
I gave them 3 girls and 2 guys, everyone pretty much knows that gig, but what the hell can they do with an echasketch? curiousity killed the cat on that one..
Is it a lie, well yes, should you lie to surfers no, but a little fib isn't going to hurt. Remember its part of your job to get the surfer to the sponsor. Now if you say that the sponsor is free and they are charging 39.95 a month, or that today only they are giving away a free pizza to everyone that joins, your kinda screwed.
Banner are a waste of space, unless you add sales text under them, surfers get trained to miss banners on a page, they dont even see them. Then there is are these nice little programs that identify banners and affiliate code and they don't even show the banner..
So golden rule here is dont use a banner by itself.

Sales text and Banners the holy grail of your existence part II
Don't use things like click here to join, or join today for 29.95. You want to stay away from words like join, tour, charge amount. For free sites and tgp galleries, you cant use click here for more, or being real abscure either.
You can use something like My friend johnny is the jackoff king of the world he goes at it 20 times a day, his favorite site is ....com if your like johnny and want to get off easy and quick click here..
The surfer is thinking holy shit johnny has a jack off problem, but if this is his favorite site and he likes to get off easy and quick well shit I need to check this one out..
I could go on and on with text links page after page, but your going to get confused at some point.. just remember its something you have to learn.. it will take you some time..

Banners like I said before banners by themselves are nothing more than wasted space on a page. Sponsor banners are right up there with that one too. Now for a newbie sponsor banners are ok to use but once you really start working its time for you to make something on your own. Sponsor also have designers that are just that designers, they design, they like to make banners that look pretty, they may not sell worth a crap but hey they look pretty and they are large in size.. Some designers, not all, I don't want designers on my ass, but some have no damn clue what sells, they just do the job get paid and they are on to there next job.
Banners can be simple to exotic, its up to you. But remember surfers have to be able to download and see them, there is few ways to do this. One they should be smaller in download size and be able to load on a page quick. One little trick to this, is when you put the banner on the page, put the size in the html, on your other images dont put the size on the image, it will show first, now if the surfer is on high speed it dont make a hill of beans. But size does matter.. in that respect.
Make odd size banners, standard banners are 460x68 make them square, round, anything but that size, make them a gif, make them flash, blink, odd colors, grab the surfers eyes.
One thing to remember with banners and image size is there are still surfers on dailup if they don't see the banner or it loads slow, your not selling to them..
example of image size tag on a link.
img src=\"http://,,,,.com/h02.gif\" width=480 height=80">
non image size tag
img src=\"http://,,,,.com/h02.gif\">

I am going to show you my all time best selling banner, now I want you to know I am not a racist, I am a salesman, when it comes to makeing money, as long as I am not ripping someone off, or doing anything illegal, anything is far game. So don't dog me because I used a racist word. I can walk into any bank that I have an acount at and the bank president knows my name, If useing one word that is a no no causes this, well then so be it.
My all time best selling banner was on an ebony site, it was a white banner with black text it said nigger pussy and it blinked. I use it only as an example that simple banners do sell. You just have to grab the surfer.

Grabbing the surfer part 1
Page color is one of your biggest friends, bad page color is your worst enemy. The brightest thing on your page should be your sales material
I have ran into page after page where a webmaster will take and do a tabled page and put bright pink as one background, light pink as the backgound of the main table, then white as the sales text. I just want to kick there ass.. You have to grab the surfers eyes with your text You can not do this if the text is ligther than the other colors on the page, the eyes ajust to the brightest color of the page, and therefor bright background colors will cause the eyes not to see the lighter sales text.
Make your sales text the brightest thing on the page. !!!

Grabbing the surfer part II
Lets go back a bit to an earlyer post I did this sales text
My friend johnny is the jackoff king of the world he goes at it 20 times a day, his favorite site is ....com if your like johnny and want to get off easy and quick click here
Now lets make this sales text better..
My friend johnny is the jackoff king of the world he goes at it 20 times a day, his favorite site is ....com if your like johnny and want to get off easy and quick click here
take one or two or three words and do a color change. This draws the eyes of the surfer. There eyes will catch the color change just like yours did.
Ok lets do it one better..
My friend johnny is the jackoff king of the world he goes at it 20 times a day, his favorite site is ....com if your like johnny and want to get off easy and http://newbiemasters.com/12.gif
I should of made the word jack off king flash instead of quick click here because its more in the middle of the sentence, but you get the idea. its just a quick and simple gif file. took me all of 5 minutes..
One other note, is always use the words click here, tell your surfers where to click..

Content
Should you buy it, Just starting out, NO.. there is no reason to, most sponsors have some kind of content, that they let you use, the main rule of useing there content, is the page where the content is used you can only use them as a sponsor, this is a very simple rule.
There has been some debate over the years as to use bought content or not, some say when a surfer is at a site where you have bought content, and they click and go to a sponsor then the surfer doesn't get that content. Its just another arguement in the puddle to me, I have used my own, I have used sponsor content, I don't see any difference.

Be a business, being an adult webmaster is a business. Treat it as one. Keep all recipts for all your expences keep track of all the money you make, every thin dime..
Get a po box or a box where you can get your mail other than your home, you don't really want your home address on domains and stuff like that.
Get a busness license this may be a long drawn out proccess but you should have one.
Once you get started you should have at least a dba, or an LLc protect yourself..

Niche vs micro niche
The best way I can explain this is a Niche is say pantyhose is a niche. A micro niche is more specific say with pantyhose it could be crotchless, or fishnet, ripped. Micro is more about a niche, but its what the surfer is hunting for exactly. When your makeing a site or a page with a micro niche you have to stay within that catagory, if you have 19 images of say crotchless pantyhose and you put one image of ripped pantyhose, the surfer thinks this webmaster has no clue about what I want, therefor your tend to make less sales because they also conclude that the sponsor does not have the niche they want either..

What kind of programs do you need to build a webpage?
Your going to need an image editing program, your going to need an html editor, and your going to need an ftp program. There is some free stuff out there you can use. Some of the free programs are just as good if not better than some of the programs you pay for.
image editing gimp (http://http://www.gimp.org/)
html editor nvu (http://nvudev.com/index.php) nvu has an ftp program built in, but I wouldn't use it. I prefer to save my pages on my hard drive then use an ftp program.
Ftp program FileZilla - Client Download (http://filezilla-project.org/download.php?type=client) Filezilla

Computers are mechanical, they have a hard drive that spins and they do go bad. Some point in your life you are going to have a hard drive one day that takes a big dump. The information on that drive is your business. You should do a backup of your computers hard drive every couple of days, you should do a server back up every time you add a new site. Big drives are pretty cheap these days. Its nothing to pick up a 500gig drive for $100 you can pick up a external hard drive case for around $30. Its simple to just put the hard drive in the case and have your own back up drive. Over the years I have had many webmasters just about cry because they lost a hard drive. Do yourself a huge favor back your stuff up. You can do it while you sleep, once its done disconnect the external hard drive and there is everything you need incase you loose everything..

Capture your traffic.. No its not like holding them hostage, its about makeing a site where they want to come back every day that you send your own traffic to. The reason you want to do this is because your building a site that you can build traffic to. This is one of my biggest mistakes I didn't do in my early years.
The easyest way is with a fake tgp. A fake tgp is not exactly fake, it looks like a normal tgp the only difference is you don't take submissions from other webmasters. You use sponsor hosted galleries to feed your tgp website. If you need a tgp script contact me and I will tell you where I have an old version of comus tgp that is text only, its the last free version they gave away before they went pay. It does have a small bug in the script do to there license I can't change it, but I can tell you where the bug is. Its where you tell the script how many charictors to allow the script to post on the tgp page.

In the post above I mentioned sponsor hosted galleries. These are premade galleries that sponsors have built for webmasters to use. You can not take them and submit them to tgps. You can not rip them and put them on your server as your own work, unless you have the sponsors permission. The reason being is the license for the images from the image provider, may not contain the provision that the sponsor can give the content out to webmasters, but can only use the content on there own domain.
You can use them for links on a blog, or you can use them on a fake tgp or your own tgp as filler. Some do not sell as well as the ones you build yourself. It kind of just one of those nice things sponsors do for webmasters.

The myth of being a webmaster. Yes there are some webmaster that spend 16 to 18 hours a day working. They are dedicated webmasters that make there living strickly from being a webmaster. If you don't have the time spend being a webmaster then don't. But do spend a couple hours a day learning and working. You won't be makeing a ton of money at it, but you will be learning and once you learn you will find that there will become a time when you will be makeing more money from this biz than your regular job, it may take you a few years, but it is well worth it to learn this biz, it can take you places you never dreamed of.
Before you think I don't have time for this and quit, think of this. 10 years from now is that tv show, that movie, that pint at the pub going to really do you any good, will you even remember it. This business is here to stay in some form or another. The only thing that is more important in this biz is your family and your health. Make time for it, over time it will reward you back. If you give up and quit it will give up on you too.

Failed sites. Before you think your the only one that has had an idea fail, your not. I have a ton of idea's that just didn't work the way I wanted them to. But working with idea's is not a bad thing. Every large site out there started from nothing. It was someones idea. Some idea's are multimillion dollar winners. Others are total flops, but you don't know if an idea is going to work until you try it. If at first it don't work, don't spend as much time on it as you normally would, cut back on it a bit, but until the idea is a few years old, don't give up on it.

Burnout..
If your in this biz for a good bit of time your going to suffer from burn out. It can strike at any time. I go thru burnout about once every five or six months, it lasts about three or four days. I get thru it by looking at projects I want to do, talking to other webmasters, and spending a boat load of money shopping on the web. I find working out at the gym helps, but sometimes its just your brain saying dude or dudette take a break.. it happens so just kind of figure on it happening some time or another.. Don't try and kill yourself and work thru it.. It can get so bad you just completly quit. You don't want to do that, you just want to take a bit of time off..

When I started doing this gig, I had a 15inch crt, then I moved up to a 19inch flat screen crt, then I moved up to a dual 21inch lcd's. I now use a 27 inch lcd. I would go to dual 27inch lcd's but I don't have the room on my desk.
One thing you will find after a few hours of stareing at bright light in your face is your eyes start to bug out, they can burn, itch, or just plain hurt. The best way to combat this is to get a timer and set it for 45 minutes. When it goes off get up walk around and then come back, give your eyes time to ajust to a different light. If you don't and you continue you could really put a hurting on your eyes..

Staying focused.
I get asked this a bunch.. How do I stay focused on what I am doing, One minute I am building, the next minute I am looking for a script or something and I end up not working but surfing. I am a firm believer in timers. I keep a couple of them on my desk. I buy the little cheap digital ones for like $1 at the dollar store. I set the timer for 15 minutes, when the timer goes off, I am like oops better get back to what I was doing. Or I am like sheesh its been 15 minutes already, reset the timer and go back to what I was working on.. but it does help me stay focused.

I get asked all the time, I have decided to start with building galleries, where do I start. I know I am contradicting myself, here but get two cheap hosts, unless you have the money for your own box. Buy 6 domains. Look at the bottom of netpond and choose 4 sponsors that supply images. Never start with movies, you will get nailed before you even start. Buy a copy of chameleonsubmitter (http://www.chameleonsubmitter.com/php/banclick.php?ref=6015) and buy a copy of confirmer too.
Then build and submit 3 galleries per day. Each gallery should contain 20 to 25 images, make sure when you link to your image, remembering that tgp doesn't allow images in html.. After you run it a few times, you going to figure out who is sending you traffic, and who is not. If your get listed on some of the larger tgp's either your building things wrong, or your building things that are just to good. You don't want slammed with the kind of traffic they are going to send at first. You want smaller tgp traffic.. You have to learn how to sell to tgp, its not the easyest thing in the world.
When you have 10 galleries that you have used then go back thru confirmers emails, for one day. Your going to find some of the sites offering free partner acounts, apply for them.. this will help you get listed in the long run, make sure when you email them to include a link to the 10 galleries that you have made.
Once your makeing money, don't spend all of it, Bank roll it. Once you have enough money go searching out paid partner acounts, or if you want buy Chameleon Partner Account Requester. This is where the 2nd host will come in, once you start using paid partner acounts your going to need a backup cheap host. Because chances are your going to start sucking some resources. They are going to do the nasty things we talked about earlyer. Upload a copy of your stuff on your secondary host, just in case you get nailed for the resources thing, its kind of a backup just in case. If host a goes belly up for you, switch to the secondary. Yes you can wait a while before getting the second backup hosting, I just prefer to warn everyone, your prob going to need it. Because once your galleries are down, you got to get them back up asap, email your paid partner acounts, and tell them your hosting went south, but your galleries should resolve within 6 to 12 hours. because you have already done your homework and everything is backed up all you have to do is change the dns on your domains..
Remember cover your butt when it comes to cheap hosting.. If you cant afford good hosting. Once you can afford it, get off the cheap crap, because it will bit you sooner or later..

When submitting to tpg's always use the same name, and the same email address. This way the tgp's will get to know you, as long as you stay on the up and up with them, they will stay on the up and up with you..
Tgp rules, I have seen and heard every story in the book when it comes to rules of tgp, the best rule of thumb is follow the rules. If you don't like the rules of a tgp, don't submit to them.
If you get banned by a tgp, send them an email, humble yourself, hey mr sitename, I am a newbie and I am really sorry that I broke your rules, I will make sure that not to submit to your tgp anymore anything that would violate your rules. This may or may not get you unbanned. If it don't then owell.
Some tgp owners understand newbies some don't. The key thing to remember its there site and they can run it however they wish.

I am going to make millions, keep it quiet now don't want everyone doing it.. You know kind of a secret. You know how cows have cow hide, or leather? minks are for like mink coats.. well I am going to get me some nauga's I will make millions selling nauga hide, its in tons of cars.. Ok you can quit lauging now, there is a great lesson here.. actually two lessons.
First don't believe everything you hear, There is tons of get rich quick crap on a lot boards out there, we do are best to kill it before it gets stupid here on netpond. A lot of posts you see here on the newbie board, believe or not I have told or written about a lot of them. When I see someone say what I have said, I leave it, when I see something I haven't said, I investigate it. If your around very long I am sure you will repeat to someone what I have told you.. At first I was like "Hey they stoled my words" Now I am like honored that they remembered what I taught them..
Second thing to learn is don't go chaseing everything that comes down the pike. Every concept out there has made money for someone, even how to sell in an ebook be it good or bad has made people money. Stick with what your doing, give it a chance to work. Jumping from one thing to another only ties up your time and you don't have time to do everything...
If the joke didn't make sence to you, naugahyde is a man made material it doesn't come from an animal..

Keep your pc running at its peak performance. When I first wrote the original thread, windows xp was just comming out, with windows 98 it was scan disk and defrag every week and dumping temp files and temp internet files. Now days its dump temp files and temp internet files and running defrag every week. Here is a real killer, when you got your pc it prob had a decent size hard drive. 120 gigs or more, the bad news as you work you fill up that big drive. It takes more time to seek out information. If you change the drive, or get a new one, split it up with sectoring it, like if its 500 gig drive, sector it to 4 125 gig drives, or come pretty close, you dont get a pure 500 gigs out of a 500 gig drive, but you will get close. this way your drive will look for things in a smaller space..

know sometimes you guys are insane with what why who and every question you can think of is running thru your mind, what color, what layout, what sponsor, what banner what sales txt, what what what what.. How do I know, because you ask and ask and ask.. the bad thing is, there is no majic layout, no majic color, no majic sponsor, no majic banner.. What there is experiance, each and ever niche is different, each page layout is different.. Kiss.. keep it simple stupid applies to everything, the easyer you make it for your surfer to get what they want, will be the golden rule. Don't try and be a perfectionist, if the links work, banners and images pull page loads nice and quick, you have half the battle done. Quit trying to build the ultimate website there isnt one.
I was looking at stats from old site the other day, I have seen sites that back in 2000 had 200,000 hits the other day they had 20,000 hits, no real ryme or reason, it just happened that way. I seen old sites that grew from 30,000 hits in 2000 to 50,000 the other day, no real reason they just didn't expand. Todays hotness is tomorrows waste land. The net moves with inovations and new things, its like a new car, no one wants the one they bought last year, they want this years model, it may be the same car but it still new and improved. Don't burry yourself in yesterday, build for today, because next year it may be something else.

Images video cams... I built a lot of sites that graduate from one to the other. I like to run my image surfers to video sites, and my video sites to live. or my image sites to live. With sales text like images are nice but if you really want the best the net has to offer see a girl do this for you live. I will then send them off to cams.com (http://affiliates.streamray.com/go/g739712-brk)
The thing with cams is that it takes a while to build up your membership base. Its a slow process until you get a few whales in the mix, I have one surfer that will spend $500 at the first week of the month, like clock work, I see the same $500 sale this surfer has been doing this a very long time. Cams sites are for the long haul webmaster, there not for a quick money scheme busness model. When it comes to video I send a lot of my traffic to aebn (http://www.aebn.net/index.cfm?refid=AEBN-008206) sending surfers from image to video is easy. With sales txt something like. Isn't this babe hot, wouldn't you like to see a babe doing it on high quality video? Your upselling from one to the other. When adult check a now out of business adult verification system, or avs, I made thousands of sales from images to video, until adult check started giving away video, then my sales went down, but there was still money to be made pushing images to video.

Free password in the email programs. I have always made a good chunk of change with passwords by email Like the ones cecash (http://coolwebstats.com/cgi-bin/joinUs.cgi/VALL?affiliate=2472134:VMI4) has, with a program like cemags paying $1.50 per double opt in email it makes for some easy made money in your pocket. But just telling you this won't help you out a lot, you need to know a little trick thats been around for ages and still works today. I have pages with free passwords in the url, be it domain names or just a page name. I use the matrix builder and build whole pages or sites based on the matrix builder. I explain to surfers on the page whats involved, they put in there email address on the page I link to, and they will get an email asking them if they truely would like a free password. This is a good way to make money. But be warned some tgp's and link lists will not link to site or pages that promote email programs. But if you do blogs its a good thing to have on them..

Cell phones, Ipods, Psp's, smart phones. I am kind of new to this concept myself. But I will tell you what I have learned. Most cell phones use a video format of 3gp, Ipods are Mp4, Psp's and Smart phones use wmv. To build for one kind of handheld is kind of like useing a sling shot to shoot a moose. Sure you can hit it but to keep from pissing it off you might as well take it out for dinner. The sites I am looking at building are multi formated under the niche of handhelds. This is sort of a thriving business in other countries, but not in the Usa. What has hurt the usa market, is this dick companies that advertise ringtones, backgrounds, and crap for phones, saying there free, then turning around and charging the customer a membership fee, and sending unasked for stuff, then charging the customer for them. From reports of this writting usa is a 23million dollar industry, where other countries are around 1billion dollar industry. Is it wise to build for handhelds, right now is the best time to get started on a project, but I wouldn't dedicate a lot of my time to it, maybe an hour every couple of days, to build the traffic, once the tap turns on full stream then you will have a bit of an edge over someone just starting. It will happen it is just a matter of when.
One thing about ring tones, images, and video, unless you own the rights to it, it is very much stealing or bootlegging, so be careful what you upload, make sure you own it.
Also some content producers require an aditional license to use the content you have for the web, to be used on handhelds, so be sure to check before you just use the content.

Search Engines: I have to say over the years I am rusty, I havent done anything major with seo in a long time. One of the main things I do to be up in the top is buy the domain for the keywords I want. It seems to help a lot if you domain name is the keywords. To be good at seo you have to be analistic. You have to be able to look at se listings and figure out why they are where they are. Do enough searches and you will see some what of a pattern. Its kind of hit or miss, because you may get lucky right out of the box or you may fail, but you have to treat seo as a you would a video game, make it quest. Thats how I leaned seo, I made it a quest to be number one. From 1995 to 2000 99% of my traffic was from se's. I had over 2,000 listings in search aol alone in the the top 20. How I learned how to get listed in dmoz and back then dmoz was aol's search engine of choice, and if hadn't been for asshole editors aol would still be useing dmoz. In 1997 if you wanted the top listing at altavista you put up a header in H1 font, with a single image and a link under the image with the link going to a page of the same name as the keyword.
From 1997 to 1998 you wanted a top listing at yahoo you third tiered the domain to be yahoo.yourdomain.com Yahoo seen it as one of there own sites.. Can't do that now they have lawyers and get pissy when you do that.
Google is its own puppy, I look at google as a bunch of monkeys with hats, they put listings into the hats and the monkeys pull out the paper and thats what gets listed. Your site goes up and down as they change monkeys.
There are many places to read about search engines, some good some not so good, the best way to learn is take the time, and study the se's listing figure out what in those pages the site lists makes it so high in the listings.
Dont think there is just one se there is more se's in the world than you can shake a stick at. Want to see 99.99% of them, then this site will show you Search engines from across the world with Search Engine Colossus (http://www.searchenginecolossus.com/) don't think that google and yahoo are the only ones, there is tons and tons..

New webmasters tend to build like its 1995, they have one or two sites that they try to drive traffic to, thats old school thinking. Back in 1995 most webmasters had a free site that they was trying to drive traffic to unless it was a link list, it wasn't very productive. I seen this early on, I believe it was fantacyman from cybererotica, now cecash that building one site in one niche was like trying to get surfers to like one kind of pizza. It don't work that way. Your going to have to realize, its not about one niche, its not about one site. Its about tons of sites, tons of niches. Don't get me wrong there are a few webmasters that live there niche, they have built a following, but they are few and far between. There is no limit to how many sites you can put on one domain. I always saved my index for search engines, some of my folders I made for trades. Some more for search engines. They key thing is don't limit yourself to one site per domain, use a domain for galleries, free sites, or what ever else you want to do with them.. Just come away from the idea, hey I have one domain and I am going to drive all the traffic I can to one site. It doesnt work that way..

I am the king of bad spelling, oh yeah I make more mistakes than carter had peanuts. But it has given me a huge advantage over the years. I have bought awesome killer domains only to find out, I didn't spell them right, but my mispellings have also given me traffic, because I am not the only hillbilly that doesnt know how to spell. One domain I have, nets me over $3,000 a year just from type in traffic because I didnt spell transsexual right in the domain name. Sometimes a mistake is a godsend, Hojed on foniks worcs four me.. LOL.. If you catch a domain name or you miss spell something it can work for you in the long run.. don't be afraid to go with it..

What it is, I guess there is no instructions to what is a tgp gallery, what is a free site, what is a tgp, and what is a link list..
a tgp gallery is made of 4 to 5 tables consisting of 15 to 30 thumbs (depends on the tgp rules your submitting to) in between 2 of the tables you put some kind of sales material, banners with txt, txt, etc.. the bottom you will find where you put you last piece of sales material.. do not submit sponsor hosted galleries, do not rip a sponsor hosted gallery and put it on your site unless you have the sponsor permission..
a free site consists of an index.html that contains some sales material, link back icons (buttons) or text links back to link lists that you have submitted your free site to. It has an enter and exit link, the exit link goes to something non adult. The index goes to the gallery selection page. You may use a couple pieces of sales material on your gallery selection page.
You will have 2 to 3 gallerys with a min of 10 images each these are of the same niche as your free sites theme. Galleries will can have a couple pieces of sales material, and link straight to the image as with a tgp gallery.
A tgp is a list of tgp galleries, that was submitted by webmasters, it just list galleries excepted by the webmaster that owns the tgp. It may be image based or text based. always read the tgp's rules before submitting..
a fake tgp is one that you own that you list sponsor hosted or your own galleries.
a link list is a site that lists free sites, most of them are set up as to niches, so your button on your free site should have the corisponding niche button or link back..
With tgp and link lists follow there rules, if you need examples of free sites ang tgp galleries, then seach out a few and see what you find as everyone is different..

Stop being lazy, if you start out right, then your not going to be stuck in the lazy mode.
Any site that is not linked by a link list or tgp, put your pics in html with banners and sales text around the pictures. Get out of the tgp rules mode. If its a blog then make it like you want it, its your no rules. Run consoles, use things like you want to. Use softcore images to sell hardcore

I am not sure if I have posted this before.. But I guess it needs to be said again.. If your looking to make a bundle in the next month to six months, your barking up the wrong tree. You have a better chance of learning to be a brain surgeon in the next year as you do makeing 5 figures a month in this industry, it doesn't happen that way. Its a lot of work.. Just thinking that putting up a few pages with some sales txt and some banner is going to rack in the bucks, isnt going to happen. You have to know what your doing, there is a huge learning curve, some people have that nack others dont, but thinking your just going to jump in there and go for it and make a bundle in a month isn't going to happen. I am not trying to be negitive, but every time the world turns over money problems I get more and more newbies wanting that quick buck. That quick buck is at McDonalds, its not in this industry.

How to build a completely legal and content provided adult tube site.
First your going to need an AEBN account if you don't have one
then Click here (http://www.aebn.net/index.cfm?refid=AEBN-008206) sign up and get one.
Second your going to need a tube feeder account. When you log into AEBN you will see on the left hand side where it says tube feeder. Click on that and it will take you to tube feeder.
This process will take you a couple of days. To get approved for both AEBN and Tube feeder. If you have an AEBN account already then your a little ahead of the game.
The way tube feeder works is you put an I--frame in your page, the page is static but the I--frame will change when the page number is clicked in the I--frame
I would suggest making some header images for your tube sites your going to build while your waiting on the approval process. Inside AEBN you want to click on Edit/Build Theater. This way when you make your tube site, you can send your traffic to a theater that is set up and matches your tube, (header image, page colors. Etc.)
There is a selection area in tube feeder that you can select to use your theater, so this is a nice concept to be able to use your own theaters.
Once you get your tube feeder account. Its time to make your tube page(s)
The interface is pretty simple you can find the instructions to it here..
AEBN Blog » Archive » AEBN Guide to Setting Up TubeFeeder (http://blog.aebn.net/2009/01-06/aebn-guide-to-tubefeeder/)
There is a couple tricks I did find to it.
The output setting do 600x900.. I worked my tube sites 5x4 to get the I--frame to fit in the page right I had to change that to width='750' height='550 so that can be changed to fit your
I did run the I--frame in a table 3 across the middle was the I--frame then right and left cell of the table was used for sales txt..
Here is an example AEBN
http://tubefeeder.aebn.net/tube/ will give you an idea.

I have gotten in trouble over the years for telling newbies kiss, keep it simple stupid, some thought I was actually calling them stupid. Its not an insult. Its a proven fact. I have a great friend, this guy is by trade a graphics designer, he can make a pile of dog shit look artistic. I showed him the ropes, told him build me a couple galleries lets see what you can make. I went over to his house 3 days later, he had one gallery built. I asked him how long it took him to build that gallery, he started building that gallery 3 days earlyer. Sure it looked sharp, If I could build a gallery like his, I would be poor as hell. The colors all matched, the images was perfect, he even did a little bit of air brushing to the images to fix some of the imperfections. I am like dude. WTF. A gallery should take you an hour at the most. You put the shit together, who gives a rats ass if its perfect. Just so the surfer can see there is content, then you rip there eyes away with your sales txt colors. His sales text all blended into the page really well. Just keep it simple. K.I.S.S

Softcore vs Hardcore..
I am a true believer that if all hardcore was only behind a paysite membership system sales would skyrocket. There would only be one place surfers could get the nasty stuff, so they would have to pay for it.
With that said, a proven fact is softcore will out sell hardcore any day of the week, Even on new years day. I have had many webmasters switch from hardcore sites, galleries, to softcore and make more sales. There is a reason for this, if the only product you have on your page is softcore and the only thing a surfer see's is a hardcore banner, where they going to click if they want hardcore? Your banner, pretty self explanitory why it works this way.
