It depends. I stay out of LB's projects. Profesional courtisy you could say. The blog itself you need to check the code at 800x600 the top header goes over the top logo. Second thing to know about blogs and google is google reads blogs from left to right, so left side first. It will monitize you or demonitize you from the left hand side. When I look at the page. The first thing I see is your links to other pages, one of the keywords you want cartoon is not in the that side. Anything else LB is trying to teach you, I am going to stay out of.. Just remember on blogs in a 3 style, left stye gets heavy with keywords in the links or any other text.

I think what he means is to add some keyword-rich text in a box or something in the left column... because when you look at the source code, the left column is what gets "read" first by a search engine spider.... and presumably keyword text that is more near the top of the page (in the source code) is given higher weight in terms of SEO.
Alternatively, you can do some tricky CSS stuff to make your middle content column be the "first" div in the source code, yet still display as the "second" column (as it is now).
The simple solution is to just add a content box to the left column with an H1 or H2 tag and a couple sentences about your blog (using your primary targeted keyword or phrase).
Again, if you're working with LB, then run it by him first.
That is the basic rationale behind the SEO tip, though... Generally, search engines place more weight on keywords in text that are nearer to the top of the html source code.
The concept is generally referred to as "keyword prominence", if you want to google for more info... here's a more in-depth link:

Sleazy, thanks. Cartoons wasn't the keyword/phrase I was looking to exploit. Too much competition for that one. Trying other words and phrases.

You guys misunderstand me. I'm not working with or for LB. Just using some of his tutorials.
Adding text to the left hand side I thought would be done by the posts themselves. I'll be adding links to my other blogs and sites in the left sidebar.

Oh ok, LB and I just have a lot of respect for each other, and he is a fantastic freind. I just try to not step on his toes when he is trying to teach someone.
